Dont Put Me in Charge, Please !!

I remember when I was supposed to prepare for a trip to the desert with my family. That day, my father put me in charge in order to prepare what we need for one day. Of course I took the benefit of that so I gave orders to everyone in my family. “You have to prepare the food, you have to prepare the fire, you have to…” These were all my commands to my little brothers. I did really like it!! When we reached to the desert, we put our camp and started to prepare the food and the camp fire. After we were done, we had our meal and it was really delicious. At that time, my younger brother felt thirsty and he wanted to drink water. All of us felt thirsty. That time, I was searching for the water in the stuff that we brought with us but I didn’t found it. Then, my father asked me “When I put you in charge, did you forget anything?” I said “of course not”. However, it was my responsibility to bring the water with us but I forgot to do that because I was giving my commands to others without giving commands to myself. I felt that I was the worst leader to give any commands to her squad !! I won’t forget that day.
